Manpower Department to Ask for Autopsy Report on Dead Indonesian Migrant Worker

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Bojonegoro Regional Manpower and Transmigration Office will ask for an autopsy report regarding the death of Qodi Bin Salikan, 38.
This worker from Ngrandu village, Kedungadem subdistrict, Bojonegoro District, died in Qatar on 8 March.
The request for the autopsy report is to find out the reason behind the death of this man who used to work as a gardener.
The initial report submitted to the Bojonegoro Regional Manpower and Transmigration Office stated that Qodi died of a heart attack.
“However, we will still ask for an autopsy report to complement his death report,” Djoko Sartono, Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Section of the Bojonegoro Regional Manpower and Transmigration Office Bojonegoro told Tempo on Monday afternoon (31/3).
According to schedule, the body of Qodi will arrive at Juanda Airport in Surabaya on Tuesday (1/4) at around 6.10pm.
The arrival of Qodi's body is earlier that was scheduled as it has been held for 20 days in Qatar.
Reportedly, the delay was due to the administration process.
